Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4, 1954 she is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has won a number prizes which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In the year 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first became known as an actress while she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara as well as Candy began working in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
